Finding work

I have now realized that the reason I might be having a very hard time finding a job is because of my credit score! Go figure never thought about it before, but the crappy thing is that since I have lost my job over 2 1/2 years ago, when I was pregnant and had to pay taxes since my employer did not take enough out on me, I lost my car, got behind on my bill's and still am behind on my bill's. granted I am married but let's not go there.

I have figured it out why we have some homeless people, they have lost their jobs and their cars, homes, and family's, now I am not saying this is true for everyone of them but I am sure some of them this is what has happened. Since we do lose our jobs get behind on payments, employers most likely look down on this and say "Oh No I am not hiring this person since they had their car taken, or they haven't paid on their credit cards in months!" If it was so easy to find work there would be no homeless people, we would not be in another depression, we all would be happy and be able to take care of our families!! Those you who have a job count your blessings!! I am a full time mom, I am taking classes on-line but who is to say that I will get a job when I get out of school? If I don't how in the world am I going to pay back my student loans? It is a vicious cycle that we live in these days and our government could careless about the middle-class people who by the way pay their salaries Hello we pay taxes and come on they get a piece of that right?! Sorry just had to vent and rant and rave!!

Unit 10 last blog!!

Well as we come to and end for this class, let's reflect on what we have learned, writing is hard in APA format, make sure to find a topic that you can get information about, start on you paper at the very begging of this class, and most of all make sure to have some fun when you write if you don't then you will burn out and not want to write. The best thing I can say is that it helps to know about citations, that way you don't get in trouble for plagiarism. Also how to write a awesome paper for your college classes. Granted APA format for me is still a pain but it is not as bad now like it was in the begging. The only thing to say I learned a lot from this class, I know I will take what I have learned and use it through the rest of my classes. I wish the best of luck to everyone here, in their up coming classes, and their future.

Unit 9 Blog

Hello Kaplan folks, hope everyone is having great luck with their papers. As for me well still trying to get some more information about my topic since I can't seem to find what I need in the Kaplan Library I have been to google.com, and typing in some key words their, but of course I get a lot of different websites as well, but at least I know which ones I can use and which ones I can't use. I must say I do feel tired, but also I feel like I have accomplished a lot of things as well. I can't believe that this class is almost over with the past 10 weeks have flown by so fast!! AS for my writing I will still say it I love to free write about anything, and not worry about APA format, citations, etc. Another words I still like to write for fun! I would say the other topic I would like to research is the kidney but I am already doing that as well for my other class. So as of right now I would like to go to the beach wake up and sit on the deck with my coffee, and watch the sunrise with my family. Instead I will enjoy my down time playing with my son, and having me time. Hope everyone has had a great time in this class maybe I will catch you in another class. Best of Luck to all of you!!

Unit 8 Blog for Kaplan

Ok let's see here what is the hardest thing for me on my paper, well I should have thought more about my topic since I can not find as much information on it like I thought. AS for the feed back that I get from my fellow classmates it's great and I have no problems with it in fact it helps since it has been so long since I have written a paper for school. Never like this with the citations and reference pages, but hey that's why I am here to learn and get it done the right way. I don't know if I will keep my blog going after this class I might every once in awhile just to let everyone know how I am doing and I hope they let me know as well. I have visited only a few classmates blogs I don't think I ever posted to them though since I post to them on the discussion board. Well that's all for now.

Unit 7 Blog

Hello My Fellow Kaplan Peeps,
I am going to attempt the impossible here that is I am going to talk out my peer reviews and comments that they make not only in this class but my other class as well. When I post to the Discussion board I love the feed back I have no problems with it, also if you see something that I forgot like my references by all means please let me know some times when your typing and you get on a roll you over look the smallest simplest things. In the long run you get points taken off of it, let's be honest there easy points to get. OK so it was not the impossible topic of all time I am being such a drama queen today. lol!! Let's see what else oh yes we are here to learn and help each other out I expect people to let me know if something is not right or they don't understand what I have said therefore I can explain it better, or they can help me explain it better. It is what it is a learning experience for all of us here at Kaplan. So if you post to my discussion board and I say something back without saying thank you please don't think I am not grateful I am but I do a lot of my work late in the evenings so the screen and words start to get blurry together. That's all for now.

I told you guy's I would be back

Ok how about I woke up Wednesday morning my left eye bothering me big time, it was red and itchy a little itchy. So I called my husbands eye doctor went in there around 3 since they were working me in and come to find out I have/had conjunctivitis it was not pink eye I had gotten some bacteria in my eye and that's what caused it. So needless to say I have not been on the computer much because my eye is bothering me I have to do drops in it 4 times a day for 10 days. At least I never rubbed it, even though I wanted to I never did! I used to work in an eye doctor's office so I knew better then to. Just my luck when I have two papers due in the same week I would get a funky eye!! Of course all I can do about it right now is laugh!! So peace out!! I know I am lame!!

My unit 6 blog

Ok so I am suppose to tell you what I have been dealing with for the past 6 weeks. Well let's see where should I start? I have dealing with a stubborn and hard headed Grandmother who refuses to go to the doctor or hospital when she is having chest pains. Finally she has gone still having chest pains, but the doctor gave her Nitro tablets in case it happens she is to take that. It is helping her Thank God!! She went yesterday to have a stress test done we don't know the out come of that yet so I have to wait another week to figure out what they are going to do. Did I mention she's in Ohio and she's my favorite Grandma! So I have been really worried about her. I do try to talk to her every week but sometimes we are both so busy, me with school and my son, she's busy with different things as well. It's hard for me to sit back and wait without worrying! Let's see what else, How my idea's for my research paper could help anyone else, well I think it would help first time mom and dad's to know what their child is going to be going through. I myself am a first time parent. I am a older sister of three, and I have four niece's and a nephew but having your own child not knowing what is going on how they learn and grow is kind of rough. My son is one he will be two in Sept. I think we are already at the terrible two's!! If not OMG am I in for a long haul!! That's it for now if I think of anything else I would blog again.
